Experience and
knowledge of the local venues.
I started as a professional Disc Jockey in 1985 at the age
of 15 and worked for almost every Portland radio station
over the next 13 years.
In 1997, I accidentally
got into the wedding industry when a couple at a party I was
hosting asked me if I did weddings. I did their wedding and
liked it.
In 2001, I decided to make this
a full-time venture. Since then, I have been the
Entertainment Host for over 400 wedding receptions
throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
During that time, I co-founded the Maine Disc Jockey Network,
was Regional Network Leader for the National Association of
Mobile Entertainers, a founding executive member of the
Professional Disc Jockeys of New England and a member
of the American Disc Jockey Association.
In 2003, I also launched a wedding portal to enable brides
to find wedding professionals in Maine called the
Maine
Wedding Planner. This is when I started to get to know
most of the creme of the crop in the wedding industry in
Maine.
In late 2009, I decided to pack up and move to Tampa Bay,
Florida. Winters were too cold and too long for me in Maine.
But then I realized I missed the weddings along the Maine
coastline and decided that I would start booking weddings in
Maine again for the 2011 season and 2012 season.
There you have it. A brief history about me and why I think
I would be a great choice for your reception.
Did I
mention that
I have a passion for what I do and I
actually do this for a living? This is not just a hobby for
me like most of my competition. I have to be on my "A" game
at EVERY SINGLE EVENT.
